The home screen surfaces the record count alongside items needing review and confirmed dates.
A clearer home for life’s important details.
Records, review states, and confirmed dates. A first look at bringing the important things together.
Actual app capture · Fictional records
Actual iPhone captures show the current interface. The app is labeled Vault in this build. Every record shown belongs to the synthetic prototype.
Move from the home screen into a sample record, the collection, confirmed dates, and settings. The Ask screen also makes clear that its AI feature is not available yet.
The recording starts in the unlocked home view, scrolls to recent records, and opens Test Document 1. It then visits the Vault collection, the Timeline of manually confirmed dates, the unavailable Ask feature, and Settings, before returning home. The sample record has no attached original. No unlock or authentication sequence is shown.
The locked screen introduces the vault and its device-authentication flow. It also states the current limits: fictional documents only, with no account, cloud sync, external AI, backup, or recovery.

A manually confirmed renewal date sits above recently gathered records. Confirmed and needs-review labels keep the state of each item visible. The date is shown in-app; this capture does not demonstrate a notification.

Settings describe the prototype’s encryption, device authentication, and automatic-lock behavior, alongside the absence of backup and recovery. These are interface descriptions. Security verification is still incomplete, and the app remains restricted to fictional records.

Documents, warranties, subscriptions, and deadlines can end up scattered across different places. Orange Vault OS explores how those pieces could have a more connected home.
I’m building a native SwiftUI iPhone prototype around records and attachments. The current interface brings a collection overview, review states, and manually confirmed dates together. The broader personal AI vault remains a future direction; this build has no external AI.
The captures show a home view that connects the collection, items needing review, and upcoming dates.
The home screen surfaces the record count alongside items needing review and confirmed dates.
Recent records distinguish confirmed information from unverified items that still need review.
A manually confirmed renewal appears on the home screen. Dates are presented in-app in this prototype.
The current prototype uses fictional records while access controls and device behavior are evaluated.
Build the record experience as a native iPhone app, with attention to everyday navigation.
Authentication and Face ID behavior are being checked on a physical device. Security verification is incomplete.
The prototype is restricted to synthetic records and attachments while verification continues.
Orange Vault OS is a local iPhone prototype using fictional records only. The captures document the interface, not completed security validation. Access controls remain under evaluation, backup and recovery are unavailable, and the app is not ready for real sensitive information.
